Terms of Service

Last updated 2 September 2026 · Includes our SMS messaging terms

These terms govern your use of thomasbusesinc.com and, in the section below, our recruiting text-message programme. By applying for a role with Thomas Buses Inc or by using this website, you agree to them.

SMS messaging terms

Programme: Thomas Buses Inc Recruiting
What we send: messages about a job you applied for — interview invitations, scheduling, confirmations and reminders, and information about the driver and attendant roles
Message frequency: varies; typically a small number of messages while your application is active
Cost: we do not charge for the messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier

How you opt in

You opt in by giving us your mobile telephone number on a Thomas Buses Inc job application — on this website or through our job postings — where you agree to be contacted about that application. We do not text people who have not applied to us, and we do not buy or rent telephone numbers.

How you opt out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. We will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further texts from the programme. You can rejoin by replying START.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, or call us on (347) 492-3200. A person answers during business hours.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Opting out of text messages does not withdraw your job application, and we will still be able to reach you by telephone or email.

Your mobile number is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Applying for a role

Information you give us on an application must be accurate and complete. Every driver and attendant position is conditional on the screening, licensing and clearance set by the New York State DMV, the New York State Education Department and the New York City Department of Education Office of Pupil Transportation. Nothing on this website is an offer of employment, and describing a role, its pay range or a sign-on bonus does not create a contract of employment. Thomas Buses Inc is an equal opportunity employer.

Use of this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it by automated means, or use it to send unsolicited communications. The content, logo and name of Thomas Buses Inc are our property and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

Accuracy

We keep this website up to date as best we can, but service details, route information, pay ranges and role requirements can change. Requirements set by government agencies change independently of us. Call us on (347) 492-3200 to confirm anything you intend to rely on.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Thomas Buses Inc is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published on it. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Changes

We may update these terms. The revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top of the page.
